Mood Swing, the new rebrand for MTV International.
In this rebranding, we delved deeply into the exploration of human emotions. Across every platform where MTV thrives, you'll encounter a collection of invaders, logos, backgrounds, and idents that exhibit shifting moods, leading you on a journey through Mood Swing.
Teenagers today are not only experiencing emotions more intensely but also openly sharing them like never before in history. These insights gleaned from their emotional expressions serve as the foundation of our branding approach, which is rooted in the realm of feelings.
We've seamlessly connected various elements, including short-form content, idents, editorial posts, and essential brand components, using a vibrant spectrum of emotions that unites them all. Just as teenagers navigate through different emotional states during the day, in Mood Swing, our logo might exude excitement (represented by orange), a background might convey sadness (in serene blue), and typography might evoke fear (in dark hues). Each element within this design phase embodies a unique range of emotions, expressed through specific colors.
Execution
During this phase, our focus is on crafting a collection of graphic components, encompassing logos, backgrounds, invaders, and fonts, all of which contribute to shaping the channel's overall branding. Additionally, we create captivating visual idents that seamlessly flow across screens and resonate on every social media platform where MTV thrives.
These idents vary in nature; some are purely graphical, while others involve shooting and editing short-form content pieces. The ultimate global deliverable comprises more than a thousand assets, ensuring that each region can tailor them to their specific requirements, whether that entails incorporating insights or adapting to different languages.

Mood Swing serves as a comprehensive content package, doubling as a rich resource and toolkit. It encompasses 25 logos, 50 animated backgrounds, 30 invaders, 10 animated font scripts, and an extensive collection of over 150 customizable short-form assets.
